In the first six months of 2018, Kinaxia Logistics has introduced 63 new vehicles and 29 new trailers into the Group, which currently consists of nine transport and warehousing companies based across the UK. By the end of 2018, Kinaxia Logistics looks to replace a further 67 vehicles and 72 trailers in the Group.
This dedicated plan to optimise the fleet, led by Kinaxia Logistics Group Fleet Engineer Steve Leadley, has helped to increase the overall operational efficiency of the vehicles and trailers.
'It is essential to us at Kinaxia Logistics that we provide our customers, across the Group, with the best possible service. To achieve this, we need to ensure we are working with the most technologically advanced and efficient vehicles'. Says Steve Leadley 'We have already seen great improvements and expect this to continue as we roll out new vehicles and trailers across the Group'.
The introduction of new vehicles has also been welcomed by Drivers across the Group who have given some great feedback:
'Just to let you know these new trucks are going down well and driver camaraderie seems to be at an all-time high. I have completed my first week in the new truck and it ticks every box. Happy drivers seem to create loyal drivers. Well done team.' Duncan Drummond, Driver at Maiden's.
Each of the new vehicles and trailers is liveried in the corresponding company's logo and brand colours, but the design is a consistent style employed across the Group to demonstrate how the companies operate together as part of Kinaxia Logistics.
