Contract type: Permanent
This role is based in Warrington or Manchester, you will be required to travel to all depots in the group when required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
·Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
·Collating and writing job advertisements
·Writing Job descriptions
·Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
·Administering appropriate company assessments
·Performing reference and background checks
·Making recommendations to company hiring managers
·Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
·Following up on the interview process status
·Communicating employer information and benefits during screening process
·Stay current on the company’s organisation structure, personnel policy, and employment laws
·Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
·Complete timely reports on employment activity
·Appoint and work with 3rd party providers for the management of recruitment campaigns and the supply of interim and, where necessary, permanent appointments.
·Provide and support quality recruitment offering, which is flexible, focused on business need and delivered with passion, drive and innovation;
·Own, manage and constantly improve the end to end recruitment processes for volume areas;
·Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs
·Research and choose job advertising options
·Participate in job fairs and career events
·Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
·Extensive Recruitment experience in Transport Logistics & Warehousing
·Previous Recruitment Managers Role managing a team
·In depth knowledge of Recruitment processes and routes to market
·Understanding of the issues facing recruitment and retention
·Ability to lead on innovating attraction initiatives
·Deep knowledge of candidate management
·Awareness of market challenges and conditions
·Strong negotiating skills
·Qualifications in the relevant field;
·CIPD qualification or studying towards.
·Experience of developing and delivering a recruitment strategy and plan.
