William Kirk Driver Rewarded for Commitment to Company

William Kirk’s long-serving driver, Dave Walker, has been an asset to the company since 1983. Today, he is recognised for his commitment and loyalty to the business with a brand-new DAF XF480.

There has been an investment into trucks at William Kirk, and Dave was handed the keys to the first one today (15/11/2019). William Kirk Ltd, part of leading transport and warehousing group Kinaxia Logistics, pride themselves in a ‘personal yet professional service’.

Dave Walker said ‘I like the job and the company. I’ve grown up with the business, I started working here at the age of 25. The company has always been good to me, I’ve never been out of work, wages are always on time and it suits me down to the ground”.

Carl Wagstaffe, Managing Director of William Kirk Ltd states ‘this truck is a testament to his service commitment, a full recognition of the things he has done for the company. He has been a Driver Trainer and is now back on the road with this truck.  Today, he has been in the Warehouse at 5am, helping to load up. This truck is a thank you for his work over the past 30+ years.’
