Salary: £28,000 to £30,000

Roles & Responsibilities of the Warehouse Team Leader:
·Leadership of the containers, pick and rework team
·Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job
·Communicate deadlines and goals to team members
·Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
·Ensure all health and safety incidents and accidents are reported through the appropriate methods.
·Encouraging a safe working environment throughout the warehouse
·Monitoring performance and productivity rates on an hourly basis for all operatives
·Role model for operational activities in the warehouse
·Remain customer focussed and understand the needs of the customer
·Key holder responsibilities – ensuring the site is opened and closed securely through the correct process
·Check and complete all paperwork relating to QSHE
·Adhere to BRC standards on site
·Deputise for Shift manager in their absence
·Operate the WMS (JDA) to an intermediate standard
Key Skills of a Warehouse Team Leader:
2+ years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory role
Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Computer literate with experience in Warehouse Management Systems (preferably JDA).
Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent organisational skills.

Coach and mentor others to succeed
Lead by example
Able to handle long and short-term multiple tasks, whilst working in a high stress, fast paced environment
