General Warehouse Manager

Foulger Transport are recruiting a General Warehouse Manager to join their team at their site in Norwich.

• Mon – Sat hours when required
• 45 hours per week

About the job:

• Utilise all the warehouse space to the maximum capacity whilst joining up with the Transport operation, customer requirements and adhering to any legislation requirements, i.e Bond, BRC etc
• Create a ‘one team’ culture for all the warehousing sites utilising resources effectively
• Manage and report on warehousing profit and loss accounts ensuring it maintains or exceeds budget
• Working with the Commercial team ensuring new customers and change of requirements are delivered to expectation whilst maintaining profit levels
• Focus on employee engagement and development opportunities to create a productive and enjoyable workplace
• Support and manage all direct reports ensuring they deliver on objectives
• Create clear communication channels across all the warehouses to cascade information
• Implement cross training, multi skilling and continuous improvement activities
• Ensure all sites are Health and Safety compliant
• Accountability for internal and external audits
