AKW Global Logistics are recruiting a PalletLine Manager based at their Trafford Park site.

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

Contract type: Permanent

Location: Trafford Park (M17)

Key purpose of job: Manage all aspects of the Pallet-Line desk operation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Contrado dashboard management - all messages and finance to be keep on top of and up to date.
  • Service failures dealt with according to Pallet-Line procedures.
  • Central billing / financials / un-invoiced jobs monitor / assist message board Pallet-Line imports ensure pods scanned on by 1200 for previous day drivers PDA usage - DCS monitor overall network performance mentor duties.
  • Ensure the P400 ETA’s are up to date.
  • Morning discrepancies must be completed at the start of each shift (not received or damages)
  • P400 trunk requirements to be set up and communicated.
  • Non-scanned report for any trunks to be communicated.
  • Print col labels.
  • Upload customer delivery notes into TMS.
  • Manual closures to be completed by the end of each shift.
  • General traffic duties.
  • To supervise traffic planners to ensure all deliveries/collections are completed and any delays/failures are communicated in a timely fashion and recorded correctly
  • To ensure planned 2nd runs are allocated/loaded to give sufficient time to be completed
  • To complete mentor duties by agreed deadlines including the documenting of any meetings required
  • Support team members
  • Communicate any issues that could compromise our service
  • Complete weekly costings for agency usage
  • Tachograph system management

 

  • Produce and send weekly KPI reports
  • Produce and send weekly agency costings
  • Assist traffic operations as and when required
  • Assist fleet department as and when required
  • Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by management.
  • Any other duties deemed necessary and relevant to my role, as assigned by my Line Manager
